A loan helped to buy more stock of utensils.
Carolyne's story
Carolyne is 47 years old and married to Josphat, who is a small scale farmer, and together they are blessed with five children. She is running the business of selling utensils and she earns an average income of KES 10,000 monthly.
She has been in the business for 3 years. However, she has applied for her first loan from Vision Fund Kenya to enable her to purchase more stock of utensils. With the anticipated profits she plans to repay her loan and also expand her business.
In the near future Carolyne hopes to own her own store so that she reduces the expense of paying rent on her business store - this will help her establish the business.
This loan is special because:
It provides financial services and education in deep rural areas.
