Ciao, Traveler!
This week, we’re taking you to one of my favorite spots and one of Italy’s most breathtaking coastal destinations—Positano! Nestled along the Amalfi Coast, this stunning cliffside village is a dream destination with pastel-colored buildings, crystal-clear waters, and a laid-back Mediterranean charm that will steal your heart.
📍 Must-Visit Spots Around Positano:
- Spiaggia Grande – The iconic beach of Positano, perfect for sunbathing with panoramic views of the colorful village cascading down the cliffs.
- Path of the Gods (Sentiero degli Dei) – A scenic hiking trail offering jaw-dropping vistas of the Amalfi coastline. A must for adventure seekers!
- Fornillo Beach – A quieter alternative to Spiaggia Grande, ideal for those looking to relax away from the crowds.
- Ravello – Just a short drive from Positano, this hilltop town is home to Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone, where you can soak in breathtaking coastal views.
- Amalfi & Atrani – Visit the historic Amalfi Cathedral and wander the charming streets of Atrani, one of Italy’s smallest yet most picturesque villages.
- Isle of Capri – Take a short boat ride from Positano to this glamorous island, famous for its Blue Grotto, designer boutiques, and stunning cliffsides. Don't forget to enjoy a Caprese salad where it was first created!
🍝 Taste of Positano:
No trip to Positano is complete without indulging in the region’s delicious cuisine. Try scialatielli ai frutti di mare (fresh seafood pasta), delizia al limone (a lemon-infused dessert), and, of course, sip on some locally made Limoncello while watching the sunset over the Tyrrhenian Sea. 🍋🍷
🎒 Travel Tip:
Positano’s steep, winding streets are best explored on foot, so pack comfortable shoes! A Taaluma Tote is the perfect companion for carrying your essentials while wandering through hidden alleyways and coastal trails.
Happy Travels!
